Dog Daycare in Round Rock
If you need dog daycare in Round Rock, TX that gives your dog a full day of off-leash play, climate-controlled comfort, and live webcams streaming all day, that's what our independent doggy daycare has been doing since 2006.
What's included in a day of daycare
Every daycare day at our Round Rock facility includes:
- Open-room, off-leash group play, not crate-and-rotate. Dogs are with their group from drop-off to pick-up, with one shared midday nap.
- Group separation by size and energy, small side (under 40 lbs and lower-energy dogs) and big side (over 40 lbs, typically more active).
- Climate-controlled indoor play areas, 8,000 sq ft total, important for Texas summers when outdoor temps top 100°F.
- Outdoor play with agility equipment and splash pools, when weather permits.
- Constant staff supervision, every play room has staff watching. No dogs are left unattended.
- Live webcams, check on your dog from your phone or computer throughout the day.
- Sanitization between sessions, play areas are deep-cleaned during the 12–2pm nap.
How a daycare day works at our Round Rock facility
Drop-off begins when we open. You walk your dog in, sign in at the front, and a staff member takes them back to their group. There's no waiting, no scheduled appointment time, just walk in within our open hours. From drop-off until 12pm, dogs play in their assigned group, with rest breaks as needed and water always available.
From 12 to 2pm we're closed for nap time. Every dog rests, the staff get a break, and we use the time to clean every play area top-to-bottom. We're not open for drop-offs or pick-ups during this window, it's protected time so the dogs get the rest they need before the second half of the day.
From 2 to 7pm (until 6pm Sundays, until 12pm Saturdays) play resumes. Dogs continue with their group until pick-up. Most dogs go home tired in the best possible way, they've had hours of social play, not minutes.
Why our Round Rock daycare model is different
Full-day model, not 90-min rotations
Many large daycare facilities use a "crate-and-rotate" model where dogs cycle in and out of crates every 60–90 minutes. We don't. Our dogs play together in their groups from drop-off to pick-up, with a single shared midday nap. The result is 6+ hours of supervised social interaction every day, not 30–60 minutes total.
Locally owned since 2006
We're not a franchise. We're not owned by a private equity group. The same family has owned and operated this Round Rock daycare for two decades. That stability shows up in our staff (long-tenured), our policies (consistent), and our care decisions (not optimized for quarterly numbers).
No-tricks pass policy
Every daycare pass is refundable for unused days, never expires, has no maintenance fees, and is transferable to another dog. If you buy 20 days and use 1, you can get a refund for the other 19, even years later. We've held this policy since day one and have no plans to change it.

Who daycare is right for
Daycare is a great fit for socially confident, healthy dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs. It's especially valuable for:
- High-energy adolescents who are tearing up your house from boredom.
- Working pet parents who don't want their dog alone for 8+ hours every weekday.
- Puppies past 6 months who need structured socialization to grow up confident.
- Multi-dog households where one dog gets along with strangers but the other doesn't, sometimes splitting the day at daycare resets the dynamic.
- Vacation pre-conditioning, a few daycare days before a boarding stay makes the boarding experience smoother for the dog.
Daycare is not a great fit for every dog. Highly reactive, fearful, or chronically anxious dogs often find a high-energy group environment stressful, not enriching. We'll tell you honestly during the evaluation if your dog seems unhappy, and recommend better-fitting alternatives.
Why Round Rock dogs need climate control
Round Rock summers regularly hit 100°F+ for weeks at a stretch. Outdoor play in those conditions isn't safe, heat exhaustion and heat stroke are real risks for dogs, especially short-snouted breeds, seniors, and overweight dogs. Our 8,000 sq ft of climate-controlled indoor play areas means dogs get full-day socialization regardless of the weather. When it's brutal outside, they play indoors. When it's pleasant, we open up the outdoor areas. Texas weather doesn't get a vote.
Frequently asked questions
What does a typical daycare day look like?
Drop-off in the morning, then off-leash supervised play with similar-sized and similar-energy dogs. We close 12–2pm for nap time when every dog rests and play areas are cleaned. Play resumes 2pm until pick-up. Most dogs get 6+ hours of active play.
How much does daycare cost in Round Rock?
Single-day daycare is $30 for one dog. A 10-day pass is $270 ($27/day) and a 20-day pass is $510 ($25.50/day). Sibling discounts apply: 2nd dog $23/day, 3rd dog $20/day. All passes are refundable for unused days and never expire.
Is daycare safe for my dog?
Yes, though group play always carries some risk. Every dog passes an evaluation before joining. Groups are split by size and energy. Staff supervise constantly. Fights are rare; when they happen, dogs are separated, checked for injury, and dogs that show repeated aggression are not asked back.
Can my dog come every day?
Yes. Many regulars attend daily. We have no per-dog day limits. The 20-day pass works out to about $25.50 per day, which is the most cost-effective for daily attendance.
Do you have webcams I can watch?
Yes, live webcams stream throughout the day so you can check in on play sessions anytime from your phone or computer. Webcams are off during the 12–2pm nap and overnight for boarding dogs.
Do you separate large and small dogs?
Yes. We run a "small side" (under 40 lbs, plus older or lower-energy dogs) and a "big side" (over 40 lbs, typically more active adolescents). Crossover happens when a dog plays appropriately with the other group, but the default is size separation.
